We are at the beginning of a new rotation, which always means some readjusting and new schedules. One bonus to the rotation change was that David got almost an entire weekend off this past weekend. We didn't do too much...clean house, watch a few movies, get out around town. But is was so nice to not have to watch the clock constantly.
My Grandmother, or Mayna to Olivia and Zoe, sent a package to us filled to the brim with treasures for all. The girls got quite a few new outfits and pajamas that you can see here.
Olivia decided to accessorize her pajamas with a striped cashmere scarf. Quite jaunty if you ask me. Oh, and I also decided to put up a picture of Olivia's favorite lunch- Tolive Balls, a quirky meal invented by David using two of Olivia's favorite ingredients.
Oh, and obviously I have been working on a pincushion. Originally I was going to make an elaborate pincushion, and then realized what I needed was a simple rectangle that fits perfectly into my sewing caddy I use to transport my projects from room to room. And now I have a cute place for all of my pins made with shrinky dinks.
Final thoughts for the day: Olivia calls escalators "Eskimolators"
