This is what my mailman brought to me! Delicious cookies straight from the kitchen of my Grandmother in Austin. A bevy of treats, most especially her famous fruitcake cookies. Anyone who hates fruitcake is challenged to try these and hate them. They are DE-LICIOUS! Thank you grandmother!
Also, I am busy roasting poblano peppers for a soup David is going crazy for. So tonight will be soup night much to Olivia's chagrin. Don't they just look so appetizing right now? Well just wait until you taste it!

Tomorrow I will put up pictures of our trip to Dallas, as my Dad kindly emailed me a million photos. Thanks kind sir! But Dad, I will not be posting the ones of me doing something suspicious with my nose. You all will have to get by without it, sorry!
Last for the day, I am officially Dirt Devil Kone crazed. Dad and Vickie bought me one for Christmas {I have a feeling I already mentioned this, but am too lazy to check the previous post}. Well, how did I get by in life without one of these beauties? Not only is it stylish and accents my kitchen nicely, but it picks up anything. And just in the nick of time did it arrive, because just yesterday I spilled a gazillion black sesame seeds all over the place and David dumped coffee grinds on my newly cleaned coffee area. Not a problem! Dirt Devil Kone to the rescue. Even funnier is that Olivia is scared of any type of motorized object: vaccuum, blender, hair dryer. Seriously, if her "spiritedness" is ever getting to be too much I don't get mad, I just turn on the disposal. Viola! She runs to the living room to play with bristle blocks! ha! Now you all know my tricks!
