Ever since I had to buy a free motion foot for my sewing machine, I am hooked on conquering this technique. Let's just say I am more than addicted to the organic way in which shapes take place. You have to kind of give up any strict formations you have in mind and let the machine tell you how something should look.
This evening the girls and I are going over to the house of David's cousin, Ceci. She and her husband have three girls, so I thought I wouldn't go empty handed. The result were two bags for Rose and Annie, and a clutch for Alexa, who is sixteen or seventeen. Hopefully, they enjoy the gifts. But mainly I just like having the ability to whip something up for someone...especially when they are old enough to actually enjoy my creations. My girls still tend to play with something I have made for a day or two, and then it ends up in the toy bin.
