Yesterday I made this vintage-inspired smock as a candidate for the shop.  Can I just say though, that bias tape is such a pain.  Ironically, it is supposed to be a time-saver.  no.  I spent more time making bias tape and sewing bias tape than the whole rest of the top. 

Olivia never wants to model things for me, ever.  I had tried it on Zoe to check for fit and wanted to see what it looked on a larger girl.  Olivia was completely resistant, until she noticed the peg-sized pockets.  Ha!  I beat her!  Her only complaint was that the people didn't have any faces.  I told her they were just my test pegs, but she apparently thought this was some kind of injustice.  I see peg people in our near future, maybe with acorn hats.
