I hope everyone had a terrific Labor Day weekend. We spent the holiday with my Dad, Stepmom, and Greatgrandmother who were in town to see the new baby, of course. Saturday, they came over to our little abode and spent the afternoon outside on the deck. The girls got completely filthy running through the sprinkler. It was such a lovely visit, that didn't last long enough.
You can see I get my love for photography honestly. My dad is quite the photographer himself! It's fun to have someone to talk about aperture and exposure, and all other things photographic.
But, my stepmom, Vickie, gets into the action too while the girls are trying to pour water on Papa's shoes!
And what a treat for the girls to be visited by TWO of their great-grandmothers in two weeks!

It also happened to be my Dad's birthday on Sunday, so I had Olivia draw a picture of him. I then transfered it to fabric and freemotion stitched it. It turned out so great!
