Yesterday I had the fall cleaning bug hit hard. Yes, around here I have seasonal cleaning bugs, not just in the spring. The day was spend completely disassembling my studio and putting it all back together after much reorganizing. I didn't do anything drastic, but everything feels much more orderly. I like when things have their very own homes to live. What's better, I actually have cutting space on my work table again. Before, I had been sentenced to trying to squeeze in between the computer chair ironing board and sewing chair. Not to mention putting things on the floor is like a recipe for disaster with all these little feet trampling over them.
Now I have space to put things down and not lose them amongst the eighty pound stacks of fabric that hadn''t been put on the shelves. The knitting is a sweater for Zoe. So far I almost have the entire back of the sweater knit. That's not the part I am nervous about...I mean, it's just a rectangle. it's the sleves and neck that have me a little concerned...or maybe the button holes. Hmm.
