This sweet girl is five years old today. Her sense of humor is spot on. Talking is her forte. She actually told her class one time that she doesn't talk a lot, only to talk herself into the fact that the does talk a lot indeed. Shoes are pretty important to this five year old. They are sorted by fancy shoes and out-and-about shoes. Notice there is no mention of play shoes in there. Dresses are her clothing of choice. My girl is a girly girl. But she is also the girl who will beat a pinata off the rope. This little lady is tough. She doesn't like to be pushed around and she will let you know it. Her favorite pastime is art of any form, which makes me so pleased. I am so proud to call her my daughter.
Incidentally, this is the Easter dress I made for her. Let me say, this one was quite a bit harder than Zoe's. I had to learn how to match up stripes, put in sleves, and install a zipper. I am so happy with how it turned out, and as you can see from the photo so is she. Her poses crack me up every time. It was so fun seeing both girls in outfits sewn just for them. I ought to make as many things as possible now before they decide they don't want handmade clothes. Hopefully that will never happen.
