It's one of those days, one of those days where you should just have stayed in bed. One of those days were you should just curl up with some Earl Gray and watch Roman Holiday. A crab bisque kind of day. A warm fire kind of day. A big blanket kind of day. A rainy day.
Our oldest friend in the world stopped by for an overnight visit last night with his fiance. It was so wonderful to see his face after so long; he has been living in Germany now for like two years. But then the trip ends so quickly, and work needs to get done, and I remember how much I miss spending time with him. We sit together tossing around ideas of all living in Spain together for a few years. Now I am back to regular life, and potty training, and a sink full of dishes in my little house. And I wonder if those things will ever actually happen, because they would be so fun.
Friends of our youth; probably one of the best treasures on earth if you can manage to hold on to them. We are lucky, because our friends of our younger years are the same people, so we can work as a team. Care for a cup of tea, my future friends of my younger years?
