More polaroids. I went out the day after our big storm last week and took a handful of polaroids around the yard. I didn't even know this plant bloomed!
We spent the entire weekend working on the kitchen, and are now at the stage where it doesn't feel like much was done. All of the work up to now has been prep work. Old counters ripped out. Walls replastered. New outlets installed. Water lines run for the icemaker. I also got our new flooring laid all by myself. The new cabinets are in the room, but not attached yet. It is exciting to see how it is going to look.
The bad part is yesterday I came down with some horrible stomach virus. We are talking loosing it out the window of the car kind of bad. Sorry for the visual, but it was really really bad. David thinks we probably stirred up something while working. Who knows. Today is better, but I still feel a bit worn down. I think I am going to forget the kitchen exists today and just rest.
