We are coming upon my two year blogaversary in about a week or so, and it reminded me that when I first began this blog it was primarily used to show the grandparents updates on the kids and such. This is why I am happy to be posting some family photos today for them. Not artistic shots of half a face, and avoidances from self-portraits, but actual photos of me and my family. There you go Mom. Whole faces for your viewing this morning at work.
The girls call any kind of hairdo like this on top of the head a Modu. This would be their way of saying Mohawk and hairdo together. Although just now, when Zoe walked in to see what I was doing, she looked at the photo and said she had a castle on her head...so I think the name is open to creative interpretation.
And finally, for my family, a rare group photo of the four of us. Our cousin Clay is a photographer like me, and can actually operate the Pentax. I was really happy to get a film shot of us, even if Zoe looks like she is picking her teeth and my hair looks like some kind of chew toy for my parents' Boxers.
It's Friday, so at some point today I will be posting a photo over on flickr for Flashback Friday. Be sure to join in on the fun! And I also wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has come by echoes to see what we have been up to, and a thanks to the people who have decided to participate.
Have a great weekend!
