First, let me start by saying thank you so very much for all of the birthday wishes yesterday! It really put a smile on my face all day long. To express just how much this little space contributes to my life would be impossible. Having all of you as friends really is such a wonderful gift. This year, more than any recent birthdays, I feel as if I have expanded...like a big breath, and now I am taking in so much more air than I was before. My world seems bigger and more alive, but also more minute, with the tiniest of details being examined by my eye. This just makes me more excited to walk this year's path.
Since my birthday was yesterday, and I am still celebrating today, I thought I would mention a few small things about myself, so here it goes:
I love the sound a newspaper makes when it gets tucked under an arm.
I love watching cream get swirled into coffee
I love when poached eggs are done by dropping into a pot of water, and they come out looking like whipped cream.
I love, no adore, the click of a vintage camera along with the shutter opening and closing. I don't even know how to express how this sound makes me feel. It's like an audible expression of potential.
I love when I am walking and my girls slip their little hands in mine, and I soak it up as much as possible.
I love having my hair brushed, and it is one of the reasons I keep my hair so long. And I love that my husband will brush it for me.
I love watching children dance.
What do you love?
Have a terrific weekend everyone! I know I will.
