I can tell the seasons are changing because the light is coming in onto different places in my home. Now, my morning light hits a spot on my office wall, but in winter it hits the hallway. Chasing light has always been something I am drawn to, which is probably why I spent so much time capturing it in photos. It is like nature's vignetting.
Although yesterday was Olivia's first day of school (which went superbly, by the way) this morning felt like mine. Gotta know exactly when to leave the house. Have to drive to the correct drop-off location at the school. Need to be able to tell Olivia exactly where she is supposed to go (I had to ask an older boy to help her. He did, by the way :) Now I have to make sure my day is spent in a productive way so I am finished by 2:45pm. I don't like having a bunch of unfinished work once I pick her up at school. That way our afternoons are spent together. exhale.
So I feel a bit kooky this morning, but happy that everything is falling into a routine. I am not a chaos kind of girl. Yesterday did have it's own bit of surprises when Alicia invited myself and Zoe along for an impromptu peach picking expedition. It was os much fun to walk around taking a million pictures with A and talking about cameras and such. And the girls were happy to have their own special thing to do while the older sibs were off at school. This is a funky transitions for the little ones I think. Go check here for pictures of that.
Hope you find you light today, friends!
