Don't get me wrong: they are such a luxury, but then I am all off-kilter for the rest of the week. Like, what? Today is Tuesday? I thought it was Monday. Now I am going to spend the rest of the week on the wrong day.

There is a lot of talk of missing summer, and I have thoroughly enjoyed this one. What a nice mix of home and travel, play and rest, company and solitude. BUT, please don't tell...I am getting excited for fall. I welcome opening all my windows to let in cooler breezes. I am ready to start baking my apple-cheddar crumble. My blankets are begging to be let out of the closet. Cozy is my middle name and fall is the perfect time for it.
