Today the birds are in my yard in droves. I actually hear a lawnmower (I missed that sound)! Currently I am a bit town between rushing outside to enjoy a new book or using this new found spring energy to get some things accomplished. And you can see that we are beginning to have buds on our trees!
I also was on a picture taking binge this morning with a vintage yashica electro I snapped up for a bargain. I'm not using any batteries for the light meter, so we'll see if any come out. Mainly I am just excited that with the new scanner I don't have to be so chintzy with my film.
One thing I did want to share with you is my love for the Doniver Yogurt Strainer. I don't know why it has taken me so long to use this thing. I bought it when I got my yogurt maker, but it just sat unused for months. Recently though, I haven't been making yogurt but wanted the thicker style greek yogurt. Our grocery store only sells the individual containers of it. Well, not only does it turn plain yogurt into thicker greek-style after a couple of hours, but if left overnight it turns into a yogurt cream cheese. yum! I have also figured out that the Bonne Mamman jelly jars make the ideal containers for yogurt/granola on the go. I pack it for David before he goes to work in the morning.
I hope you have a great day! I have bread rising and am getting ready to do a house cleaning blitz so I can enjoy the rest of the day outside!
