Today marks the end of my time over at habit. I have enjoyed the thought process behind constraining my words to 30 or less. Anyone who knows me understands how hard that would be for me. Surely you all are familiar with habit by now, and if you aren't please head over there. Molly and Emily have some great guests lined up for June. A big thanks to you both for including me in your awesome project!
It is only 9:38pm and already the kids and husband are asleep. Busy days make for tired folks I suppose. I spent my day making a huge sticky mess in the kitchen working on balsamic strawberry jam. I decided against the freezer jam everyone has been making just because I tend to keep my freezer already pretty packed with chicken stock and meat. This way the jars can hang out on my garage shelving. We cracked into a jar this evening right before the kids' bedtime and I have to say it is not quite as firm as I would prefer, but it still spreads on toast just fine.
{by the way, have you ever thought of the saying "jam packed"? Don't you bet it comes from trying to find space in a pantry that is overtaken with jam?!}
Now I think I may go relax for a bit before bed. I have kind of been going all day and just can't quite get to sleep right away, despite my exhaustion.
