As I type I hear the siren call of a cup of Darjeeling calling me from the kitchen. Normally I drink my tea plain, without adornment of lemon or honey, but today I am feeling like a smidge of cream. Isn't it funny the habits we sink into without realizing? Coffee in the AM, tea in the afternoon, wine at dinner. Without fail, as long as I am at home. In the spirit of carefree fridays, where the promise of the open days of the weekend hovers, I am listing a few of my real-life confessions of sorts.
- I am often in my pajamas until 10am, but I always have on house shoes in the house.
- There is a box of wine in our fridge at all times. Our budget can't handle glass apparently.
- My hair was so knotted this morning that it took over 20 minutes to get it combed out.
- I don't like going to the post office, but I have no reason for it whatsoever.
- if I flick an ant off of my arm I immediately feel bad thinking about it flying through the air, and wonder if it will survive.
Have a great weekend everyone!
