Today, during my time alone, I ran errands.
I went into the photo lab instead of the drive through, and the girl said,
"you never come inside!"
and I said "I love the school year! I'm alone for 3 hours today, so I can come in to pick out film"
and I chatted with her and the lab owner for five more minutes
about spotmeters
and hasselblads
and all things photo geeky it was nice.
I went into the drug store for band aids,
and came out with two small dry erase boards
(on sale, how could I resist for the girls?!)
neon nail polish
spiral notebooks
oh, and band aids (2 for 1 special)
I bought some new jeans a wardrobe staple
skinny jeans to wear every day
even though this body should probably never wear skinny jeans
I don't care to heck with all that
you will just have to deal with my ample rear end and the tapered leg
because I like them
so there even if I possibly look like danny devito as the Penguin
Don't tell me!
(just say I look great!)
because skinny jeans are in!
I'd say that was a successful three hours.
and now Zoe's toes are neon green.
and mine are pink.
