Recently I have been on a reading rampage, finishing a book every two days or so. In some ways this is a bad thing, because I am neglecting the house; dust is taking over all the surfaces. There is something about fall, however, that makes me want to grab a woolen blanket and curl up with some tea and a good book.
I suddenly got the urge recently to do a bunch of b&w portraits. When I was a kid, my brother and I would pour over the book In the American West, with photos by Richard Avedon. I knew there was something so stark and magical about his photos even at that age.
I hope you have a great day, and find a bit of inspiration in something around you.
xo,
Rachel
