An absolute beauty of a day here in San Antonio today...76ºF. Just sunshine and blue skies. Right now I'm enjoying a bit of peace and quiet. David and the girls went with his father out to the ranch; Nella ran up to the grocery for some last minute party supplies. Here I am up in our room, listeing to the fountain.
Tonight the house will be filled with friends an family, young and old. Party hats will be worn. A mariachi will be coming to walk with us up and down the neighborhood singing songs. When I was young I remember the plans for downtown parties in fancy dresses and high heels. Now our favorite festivities usually take place in comfy clothes around the home.
