I hope when the girls are older they remember all of the weekend breakfasts of their childhood. It's usually the one meal of the week that we work on as a family. Normally we eat around 9 or 10am, without a need for rushing around town. It's also the only breakfast I eat in the week that is sweet.
This morning I woke up around 7:30 to find the girls both up in the top bunk reading books. I put the coffee on and did a cursury living room tidying. David is actually enjoying a really good sleep-in and hasn't emerged from the bedroom yet. So the breakfst question is still up in the air. Maybe I'll make some kind of crossover-brunch type meal like chicken and waffles. that could be good, don't you think?
Nothing more on our agenda for the weekend. A bit of relaxation. Probably some grocery shopping. laundry. The usual. I really like the usual.
