After dropping the girls off at school this morning, I walked through the house to pour myself more coffee only to witness this through the window. At least a hundred pelicans, if not more, we're bobbing on the water right in front of our deck. I kept waiting for Morgan Freeman's voice to begin speaking about the way the babies were being protected. Mornings like these make me feel so lucky to live so close to all this wildlife.
