Season Opener (oh, and happy halloween)

My brain has been a total jumble as of late, so to remedy this I have picked up some soothing cross-stitch.  I love these samplers, because they only require you to follow the rules to achieve success.  As much as I like coming up with new ideas and starting from scratch, there is nothing like a little structure to give your brain time to relax.  Now, if I could only convince David that samplers are cool.  He kind of looks over at me with pity in his face like "here she goes.  Is someone going to mention to her that samplers are really not hip?"  Well I say "Stick it!"  They ARE cool, because I said so.

Yup.  Spurs season started last night.  Don't get me wrong; I love watching the Spurs play.  David, however, likes watching the Spurs play, AND the Suns, AND the Jazz, AND the Wizards, AND the Bulls...do you see where  I am going?  He is a basketball fanatic.  I told him that's why Sports Center was invented; So he wouldn't have to watch every game of the season, just the highlights. 

He's not convinced.
