making things

I am supposed to be quilting...I am supposed to be concentrating on one quilt in particular.  Instead, I am making a quilted sewing folder for all of my notions.  Don't get me wrong. This is completely necessary, since I carry that quilt all over the house with me like Linus.  I do need something to carry my needles, thread, thimble, and such in...but all I am really doing is procrastinating.  I do like how it turned out however.

On another note, Zoe has made the leap to a toddler bed.  It is so cute , in fact, that Olivia now wants  the same bed.   Who knows.   Of course, nap time today took an hour just for the sleeping to commence.  Zoe kept getting out of bed  and playing peek-a-boo with me.  Or she would get out of the bed and  come say "night night."  Well, everything worthwhile takes a bit of elbow grease, right?  Eventually  she will be a pro just like her big sister!  Plus, doesn't she look adorable?
