Quilt top is finally pieced. Now comes the back, and unfortunately I am not good at keeping things simple. Naturally I will be doing a pieced back as well...not as complicated mind you, but pieced nonetheless. The other thing I am known for is having my steam run out. What is probably going to happen is that I will finish one quilt and not start the other. I have too many ideas swimming around in my brain.

Although snow covers the ground here still, I can't help from getting that springtime itch. I am dying to strip the beds of the feather duvets and flannel sheets. I want to put away all of the heavy blankets from the living room couches. I want to take down the heavy velvet curtains in exchange for flowy sheers. My instinct tells me to just embrace spring, but my body says hold the boat...it is still freezing at night. Ugh, must wait.
I am notorious for being an obsessive house rearranger. Seriously, ask anyone! My house looks different with every visit. My guess would be that I don't like stagnation, and this is such an easy way to refresh my outlook on life. Try it. by just moving that chair to a different room, or moving pictures around you can give a room an entirely different feel. I am sure that is why i enjoy moving as much as I do. You get to experience life in a completely new surrounding. Especially for me, whose life is pretty much the same no matter where I go...this is a nice feature. And you know...what was "you" six months ago may not feel like "you" now. I say change it up. Make it new again, make it "you."
