finishing up business
Good morning all! I am popping in here quickly because I have quite a plate full of chores today. I am working on Olivia's Easter dress; the bodice and skirt are ready to be joined. This dress is a pretty big accomplishment for me because it required quite a few steps that had previously kept me from making clothes for the girls. I don't know what has happened, but I have just suddenly decided I could do it. What is better, Olivia seems to be really excited about the dress. One problem, I forgot it had a zipper, so I am going to have to run to buy one before it will be finished.
Then there is that nagging laundry. I think as I work on it today I am going to sort through all of the hardcore winter clothes. Even if the weather gets cold again, I don't think we are going to need every single sweater to be at the ready. Time to sort what will be stored and what will be donated. You know this is a sign of spring: when the girls are starting to pull out the cotton dresses!
